We carry two types of Pumps, Delivery Pumps and Booster Pumps.
A Delivery Pump is used to deliver water from your filtration system to an auxiliary appliance, such as an icemaker or auto fill coffee maker.
A Delivery Pump is required when you have a water cooler with a Reverse Osmosis Filtration System, and may be necessary with an Under Sink Reverse Osmosis System.
Newer refrigerators with icemakers and/or in-the-door water dispensers are requiring higher water pressure in order to operate properly. A stand alone Reverse Osmosis System often does not have enough pressure on its own to fulfill this requirement. If not used, the icemaker may not function properly, or the dispenser may be too slow. A delivery pump takes the water your system has made and increases its delivery pressure to the refrigerator or other appliance.
A Booster Pump will increase feed water pressure (psi) to your Reverse Osmosis System or Reverse Osmosis water cooler, especially in a circumstance where feed water pressure is below 50-60 psi, such as well water or some city water systems. This Pump can be added at any time you find it is needed.
